WTB Air Aid v6 Heat Sheild box only
For some reason my girlfreind too a peak over my shoulder when I was looking to buy a CAI. She must have seen me looking at the G5CR which I liked the looks and seemed to be of good quality, but it's one of the rare CAI without a heat shield box. Anyways, she had my brother-in-law to purchase the CAI through Ebay and it was my Christmass present.
I really like the quality of this product and now I want to make my own heat shield. I looked around and I think that Air Aid box will fit with some ajustments (minor). So if anyone has a box for sale, I'm in. I'll pay for shipping. |

join the club, i need one too and i have and airaid intake, airaid wont even sell you one you have to buy the whole thing. you could try making one

That's my first plan, but I'm giving a try. Air Aid won't sell the box separately. Just imagine that if for some reason you break the box (small car accident) we wold have to pay $400.00 for a $60.00 piece. Air Aid was my choice but I'll look elsewhere if ever I have to change my CAI. Thanks.

airaids service is great if you wreacked your car im sure they would send you the part free....
