Guess what I'm ordering and having painted.....

Thanks for the video man, it will keep me from destroying something while R&R -ing the grille.

Nice video, I'm in the process of pulling my bumper off for the first time so I can install a front two hook. Will post the results when completed.

Got the bumper off with no problems, only had to peel back the inner fender wells a bit to get a little bit more access. Now to figure out how to mount the front tow hook so it will not stick out too much.

Can you please take some pics of where you mounted the tow hook?

Picture with the bumper installed. Will take more once the car is back on the ground in a week or two.

You need to pull the car to the track?

No, some tracks will not let you run unless you have tow hooks. They want to get you off the track as quick as possible if you break down or run into the sand trap. I have always been worried about where the tow truck operator would try to pull me out of a jam from. Anyone know where they would clip their hook to to pull you off the track? Anyway, following the OP front number removal will make this mod a very simple one.

looks like you could put some washers on the back side of the bumper to recess the hook a bit if you wanted too.

Well done

I have two washers on the back, the hook sticks out just enough to avoid damage to the bumper should someone have to stick a hook on the tow bar.
