Affectively you are pulling the fuse to make it loose memory and for it to reset the tables itself.

All the fuse pull does is reset the fuel tables in the event that your dealer put 87 octane in. Unlikely it would do anything after a dyno tune.

Tune stays as it is. Fuel trims reset, but they will relearn. I believe there are some other things that reset too which is fine, but the tune is safe.

If you are tuned you don't need to worry about the fuse pull issues even if you accidentally put in 87 gas...

It really depends on the tune. The operating system is not visible or tunable with any editor that I know about. The switching logic between the high octane spark table and the low octane spark table is in the operating system not the calibration tables. The thing that causes the switch to the low table is knock. Once the ECM switches to the low spark table it seems unwilling to revert back to the high table.
There two ways that will stop the switch to the low table. Make both the high and low spark tables the same so when the switch happens there is no difference in spark advance. And/or increase the knock delay value so switching to the low spark table doesn't happen as soon.

a. Would doing the fuse pull procedure ruin the tune? Answer - The fuse pull will not change the tune in any way! It does reset all the "Learned" memory registers. This is precisely why it works. ** or ** b. If a tune would fix a slow car that needs the fuse pull procedure done regularly to maintain performance. My previous answer stands - Maybe Yes. Maybe No.
