Is it important to get a skip shift eliminator? What does this do? THanks

the skip-shift eliminator keeps the computer from locking out 2nd & 3rd gears during light driving. what happens is if you're using light throttle, it makes you go straight from 1st to 4th in order to help out with gas mileage. it won't do it if you're actually getting on it, so it's not very invasive. HeatherR said she barely noticed it on her trip, & it wasn't a problem.

with that, it sounds like it's more of a personal choice.

I've never got the CAGS for my SS. I just accelerate a little harder - then it's not an issue.
