SoCal Vinyl Wrapping?
Any body know where I can go to get a full body vinyl wrap done? I want to change the color of my car but not to sure if I'm ready to invest $5k into a paint job yet. I have other mods and such I want to get done before I get a real paint job, and I would like to see how I feel about it once its done for a while!

a halfway decent wrap job is going to run you $3,000-3,500...

hmm my pal here in WA got his G35 wrapped entirely in matte black for just shy of 2k. things are a little more expensive in Cali, but perhaps you could strike a deal with someone.
honestly, with enough patience and attempts, you could learn how to wrap your car yourself for a few hundred in materials. there will be some extremely difficult parts to wrap properly (gills, door handles/area, front bumper, rear bumper around the tail lights and spoiler etc, spoiler) - it's an art form to learn how to stretch and cut things right, but damn you can save a lot of money if you can stomach the learning curve.

a good way to go for temp especially if you want somthing matte or flat finish. But you need to reevaluate your budget for a repaint of the car, unless you are just planning to two tone it. A respectible, not show quality, paint job is going to cost close to $10,000

It is CGM... I want to do stealth black with matte blue racing stripes. Not the GM stripes, but full stripes the run all the way from the front to the back on the front fascia to the rear valence.
I mean the vinyl wrap wouldnt be temporary in term of a few months or anything. I would probably rock it for a few years until I decided if it is worth it to fork over the money for the paint or not! Im no millionaire so to drop $5-$10k on a paint job is not exactly a pocket change transaction for me! That and the fact that I want another car before I get the paint done so that I can stop driving the camaro all the time! |

I would do satin black with satin black wheels and get rid of all the chrome.

To me stealth black means flat black.
Top pic is flat and bottom pic is satin. I like satin better.

The last time I was next to a stealth bomber it looked right about in between those! A like the satin better, but maybe not quite as glossy!
