final HP and Torque, per CamaroZ28.com

New SAE Certified V8 Horsepower numbers

In the podcast we will be releasing tomorrow morning, Jason and I did a interview with Cheryl Pilcher at the Detroit Autoshow. She gave us the latest SAE certified horsepower numbers:

LS3 manual- 426 HP 420 lb tq
L99 automatic - 400 HP 410 lb tq
V6 - 304 HP 273 lb tq

Cool. Thanks for the post. I don't remember the source we obtained this information from but this looks like what we saw a week ago or so. I don't think there is anything to complain about from any of these three engines

Some of these numbers were released during the recent IDL and CamaroScotty posted them in his summary of the IDL. Not sure if the torque numbers were included in that though. Thanks for posting them.

I can't wait to get a supercharger (root/screw type) on this thing .. The additional low end will just make it that much more fun.

very nice numbers here. my buddy can't brag about the srt8 having more power now. LOL i was thinking the ss would beat it anyways...in handling, comfort, interior, power, mpg.... well u get my point.
