It depends on what you want it to sound like and how it sounds now and what exhaust is on it besides the x pipe? Xpipe and no resonators I assume gives you more rasp? If thats a concern Resonators will reduce that, The x pipe increases rasp, a resonated x pipe reduces drone, no rasp, smoothens and deepens the sound and can add bottom to mid range torque, scavanges a little like headers do. Best to do is go to the v6 intake and exhaust section and listen to the v6 exhaust sticky KMPrenger made, lots of good sounds and systems there to listen to.

Wonder if I can take out my LS1 from my 98 and drop her in? Nah, like her the way she is!

Exhaust guy told me If I put the resonators back on it'll quiet the sound down and take away the popping sound and the deepness

So are you running just an x pipe with resonator and muffler delete? If so..I'm sure it is probably very loud and raspy/poppy. If you have aftermarket exhaust...what are you running?

In any case, putting the stock resonators back on might help some, but even better would be to add a resonated X pipe in place of your X.
