Here's something you dont see everyday...

So I was walking around my local dealership (Bennett GM in Cambridge, Ontario) when I noticed two beautiful 2011 CTS coupe's in the distance in the far corner of the lot. They didnt look quite right from a far and this is what I saw when I got closer...

Since it looked kinda fresh (you would think they would take them off rocks to avoid whatever damage that may cause) I asked one of the service guys if they knew...well they did, and this was not the first time it's happened, in fact it seemed to be a regular occurrence at some of the dealers. That being said, after the second occurrence, they hired some third party security company to come stake the place out when they knew they were coming back. They knew they were coming back because the thieves would come in the night before and pre-loosen all the nuts, then the following night finish the job. I was shocked to hear this, you would think they would have better security considering they have CTS-V coupes, 2011 escalades and the works at this dealer

WAY to close to home... Some people...

Hope the stake-out was advantageous and yielded some serious results...

As far as I know, they do have Locking Lug Nuts. It's an option on older F Bodies (mine has them) under an RPO code and should be available on the new Camaros if I'm not mistaken.

Methinks someone finally developed a skeleton key for the locking lug nuts.

I'm surprised they didn't pull the calipers/hubs off while they were at it if they tried to hit a CTS-V coupe/wagon/sedan.
