Vacation Destination Questions
Hey Everyone,
Well its that time of year for me and the woman to go on vacation. We are having trouble choosing where to go. Our choices are down to 2 possibilities. 1. Mexico. More specifically in the Mayan Rivieara area. 2. The Dominican Republic, probably around the Punta Cana area. We are looking at 5 star resorts mainly that have some sort of golf on the resort or very close by cause I would like to golf. Good service and food is always important as well. We are also debating on weather we should find an 18 plus resort to get away from the kids. I have never been to either place but I have been to Cuba which was nice. I would like to hear your feedback on these vacation spots and what you would recommend and why. I'm also open to other suggestions if you are willing to share. Cheers, Rob. |

I am thinking about checking out the Turks and Caicos Islands. May be worth a look see.
Here are two links. http://www.turksandcaicostourism.com/ http://www.beaches.com/main/tc/tc-home.cfm Allen |

My wife and I went to Jamaica and stayed at Sandals Royal Caribbian, its all inclusive. From our experience we would stay at any of their resorts plus they are having a sale on their packages. My other choice would be Riu Resorts. Both Sandals Resorts and Riu have some great golf packages.

Our Camaro gang will be going to Punta Cana in Feb for 1 week at the Majestic Elegance...and seeing that we will all be 'kidless', we will be staying in the 'adult' section. So looking forward to it, and I hate to fly!!

I'd stay away from Mexico if possible...just to be on the safe side. But I have been in the Mayan Riviera area years ago and it was pretty cool. Of course, that was back in the day
