Sounds like the port is not connected to the radio. Take it to the dealer.

I think the problem is that your using FAT32 format. Think you should try NTFS formatted USB, I have a feeling that will work. Had the same problem with game consoles, none would read FAT32 format. Only used IPhone for my Camaro's USB port without a problem.

Several people have reported having a problem with the USB port.

Mine quit recongnizing my ipod after the first month I owned the car. They replaced the PDIM module under warranty and it has worked fine ever since.

Mine is formatted in FAT32. Not problems reading the drive. I do think I have the radio display going blank figured out. That has more to do with the file names though. Rather than file system.

You must use the usb port for MP3 player not for flash or zip drive. It doesn't work because they are not a player, just mass storage device.

That's not true. It will also work for flash drives.

If you say it with enough confidence, perhaps it will be true!

I suggest you read the manual to make sure your flash drive is formatted properly and that you are using file type (mp3) and file structure recognized by the pdim. If it is and it still doesn't work, then you need to take it in to the dealer.
