Help - Quarter panel vent blackouts - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Hey guys, looking for some input/help here...

The quarter panel blackouts are something iv been waiting for awhile to do. Doing some searching people have recommended ridergraphix and I found these http://www.ridergraphix.com/2010_Cam..._Blackout.html. I'm thinking about ordering a set this weekend, my biggest question is... Flat black, or Gloss black?

I assume the flat black is more like the color of the factory rally stripes, which I like. Just not sure which would look better here. If anyone has any up close pics that would be great. Would like to see the difference between them.

Few other things... how are these to install? Is it something I can stick on pretty easy or should a shop do it? The site seems like a reputable place overall, anyone used them or have input?

Just for note, the car is a bumblebee.. few pics in the profile

In my humble opinion I found that the "fade" graphic for the gills to look a bit more appealing.

I love em! Easy to put on and a bit more subtle than the full on blackouts.

And in reference to the OPs other question, I hope the stuff from Rider Graphix is good, I placed a $340.00 order with them this morning!

We sell more Flat Black than Gloss if that helps you make a decision.

the flat black is gonna make it look more like a real louver. sort of like a shadow.

I prefer the thin outline style. RPI sells them, not sure who else.
