I think we all agree on how unreliable most of the information is that we get from our dealers. I think that is why we are looking for a better way to get our order status.

well called the # last nite, they called me back today and said they can not help as no order have been accepted as was stated before in this thread.

re-affirming what was stated, this # is useless until after 3/16/2009.

Looks like a bi-weekly friday swing by to me dealer is in order.

That's not really true. GM will pull the orders before 3/16/2009 and when the do the status will change.

i called the number and the lady said "we actually can't track the orders on the camaro until they begin production"...i asked for the status but she still they they couldn't until march 16th :(

and my dealer isn't the brightest...

i'm stuck!!!

Just as a thought, so maybe we can figure how far down the line we're going to be, are there any engineers here who could give a ballpark number about how many cars are produced at this plant on a daily basis with a normal shift
routine.. I'm curious as to how many cars they can pump out a week...

so i got my picture with a nine digit order number, does that mean GM has it in their system? we have to wait until at least 3/17 to check on our order and maybe what number it is? i guess if i get it before july i will be happy, since it starts snowing here in october :(
