ls3 conversion kit and maybe opt for a bit more agressive (than stock) cam

Also an inclosed intake like the ADM wont add a ton of sound. I have the ARH long tubes with no cats and the stock h-pipe and axle-back and it sounds stock untill you put your foot in it. No drone what so ever. Get the thing tuned also.

50hp perhaps not attainable with one single mod

A Power Programmer from HYPERTECH guys or any of the other flash memory re-programmers on the market (such as DIABLOSPORTS, SUPERCHIPS, etc.) can get you decent HP gains plus other side benefits (like lower the temp at which the fans kick in) but will not get you alone a 50 hp increase.

A rpogrammer , plus an free flow intake + some exhaust mods will probably in conjuction get you there.

But modifying the exhaust will likely change the ehxaust note, which you want to avoid.

I share your feeling... I really love the exhaust tone of the LS3 in the CAMARO as it is!!

Best of luck with your search, and keep us posted
