My Vert being held in QC +5 wks

Has any one heard of any hang ups with the convertible? I was told that my baby will spend the next five weeks in QC! I've also read about leaks! Anybody else? Those who have taken delivery of their VERTS any issues? I am confused or frustrated hey why not how about both!! I know for a fact that the built took place on the 11TH of FEB.

All I can say is be patient......Mine sat up there for 2 MONTH after it was built and I will finally get it tomorrow. One thing you don't want to do is go to the other TPW threads because it gets even more frustrating hearing over and over again......I got mine, I got mine. Just go through other threads and read about the MODS that have been done, the trips that some have taken and enjoy the experience. It also helped me to chat with a few, now, CLOSE FRIENDS!!!!!!!!!!! You will see one VERY HAPPY PERSON tomorrow and if you want you can send me messages and I will do my best to help ease the pain.

Mine was built on 2/7 and I believe I'm the only active member who hasn't received their car from that TPW. My car was put on a train last Friday. It has sat in Ohio since noon on Monday and hasn't moved an inch. Dealer was told it would be here yesterday. Just another lie from another vendor. You either live with it or don't. I can't wait for my vert to show up. With that said, it will be the last GM product I ever buy and I've always purchased GM products.

Mine was built on 2/9 and finally arrived at my dealer this week. I'm going to pick it up tomorrow. I really do hope all of the verts arrive soon.

I grabbed all of the papers from inside the vert this evening. I had several hang tags. With the numbers 141,114,115,125,140,123, a second 125, one tag with all of the following numbers 90,91,92,93,94,95,96,101,102,110,113,116,117,118. Also had a sheet of paper with "Camaro Convertible Batch and Hold Campaign Numbers" with the following numbers 91,92,98,111,112,116,121.

Not sure what all of it was for, but it looks like they really did a great job with quality control. Kudos to the Oshawa Build team.

Also, I had 36 different status changes from camarotracking.com too

Hey nice VERT color combo! My baby was born 2/11, a CGM/IO/Black top/Stick 2SS/RS, I guess there isn't that much of a wait, until I get mine parked at home. Are you curious as to what those numbers mean?

Hey, my car was completed and ready for shipping on 1/24 then I took delivery on 4/1. I still would love to understand the reason for a 9 week wait but it does seem a lot shorter after receipt than it did during the 9 weeks.

It seems as though most are going through extensive QC but it will be worth it in the end. Mine was built on 1/31 and delivered on 3/10 and I have had no issues with it at all so it was well worth the wait.

My baby is almost home. The dealer called around 7:30 this evening to let me know that the carrier dropped my baby off this afternoon. I'll be picking her up Wednesday afternoon around 3PM. The weather should much better than today. It was cold snowy and rainy all day long.

1-28-11 and delivered 4-5-11. That is almost 5 month of waiting for me.

yup took me FOREVER TOO! i placed my order back in September! haha but chevy started to place orders in December and it was made Jan 19 and HELD until March 14th! 7 weeks on HOLD! i know its nowhere as bad as 1981 Z28!~ but i picked mine up March 24! sooo yea they take forever... but worth it!
