Camaro as your only car

I totalled my G8 late last year so I've got a dealership looking for another for me. But I'm thinking of having them look for a camaro as well. The thing that holds me back is the fact that this will be my only vehicle.

Would the camaro be ok as my only car? I do have kids that I haul around sometimes, Im also in the middle of moving. I guess I'm looking for experiences from all you great camaro owners that have the camaro as your only car. Do you often need to rent another vehicle to move stuff around?

Thanks

I couldn't do it. I don't know how I would make it without my truck. IMO its always nice to have a truck too.

Me also. I love my Camaro but with a family of 4, it's not practical for me as a daily driver. The back seat is almost useless for riders except for really short trips.

Kids are fine in the back but nothing bigger.

I drove mine daily for a year as my only car. I'll be honest its not the most practicle car in any way shape or form. The back seat is basically just a storage compartment, so unless your kids are small its useless. Not to mention its a pain in the ass having to deal with the sightlines every sinlge day and resisting the urge to constantly detail it whenever a speck of road dirt hits it.

Your sig says you're in MN...You say you are moving, are you staying in MN, or moving south? I've read other posts from C5 members in MN driving their Camaro all the time.
We are in NC and have a truck for hauling stuff and for winter when the weather isn't what you want to drive a car in, otherwise my SS is my daily driver. Really depends on what your needs are? Do you need a 4dr or will a 2dr do?

its my dd and I have 2 kids to haul everyday. One thing I realized very quickly is that a camaro is def not a family hauler, you could, but get ready to break your back everytime you have to put a car seat in the back. Sometimes I wish I had 2 more doors.

My Camaro is my only car but the most cargo it ever 'hauls' is groceries, golf bag and the like. For moving or major things I would rent or borrow a vehicle.

My camaro usually stands as my daily driver but I dont have any kids... If they are young I dont think it should be a problem but if they are teens, they be a little crampped... As for moving rent a U-Haul...

I wish I had another car because of the weather. Space is definitely NOT a selling point for this car, but isn't really an issue for me as it is not why I bought it. I don't think anybody buys the Camaro for its back seat, or lack thereof. For me, the back seat is fine because I don't usually plan on having a car full of people.

I would suggest going to the dealership and taking a look at a Camaro. Take your kids too! Take a seat in it, and see if it's alright for you. By the way, not much windshield on this car.
