We're conducting a survey on which of us Camaro owners - feel is the best sounding mufflers? Please cast your vote. Obviously - like any voting - the largest number of votes for a particular muffler - will be the winner. We ask you do not get into X-Pipes or headers or anything else - BUT the best sounding mufflers.

My SLP Loudmouth 1 sounds awesome. A bit of drone (which I like) but very aggresive. But technically there is no mufflers with that set-up.

Purchased "FLOWMASTER AMERICAN THUNDER EXHAUST SYSTEM" just last night!
Will have it in 2 weeks time!

I don't think the debate is volume level, but best sound..."tone".

Extreme volume level is not a positive if the sound sucks. I think Borla S type and Flowmaster's tone are in a class of their own.

Well-said, and i totally agree with you.
Flowmaster has its unique tone, and thats why i had it on my ex.vette and purchased again last night for my Camaro!

Agreed...also the "best sounding" is a matter of preference. For me my c6 with ARH long tubes and dual mode exhaust is loud when the butterfly's are open sometimes obnoxiously loud. On my SS which is my daily driver I run long tubes no cats and a magnaflow street series cat-back. This setup is very tame at idle and part throttle but has a deep tone at WOT with no drone and has very litte in-cabin noise. This was important to me as my 18 month old son rides with me to daycare 50 miles per day. So in the end I think it comes down to personal preference.

Personally, I love flowmaster 1 chambers on any LSX engine. Thats what I went with.
