For Sale: GM Heritage Grille (Unpainted), $175 shipped to lower 48.

Here's the story on this Grille....I bought this way back when they first came out (back before the painted grilles were even an option). So I think I paid nearly $300 for this one. I think they are now available pre-painted for right around $275-ish with a $12.95 handling charge (if that special price is still running). Anyway, I bought this one unpainted, and thought I could paint it myself. I very quickly found out that being a perfectionist and having no prior paint/body experience was not a good combination! I could not ever get it finished just right to the point that I was happy with it. So I took it to work and used a plastic media blaster (set at a very conservative 20 psi) to strip it down to bare plastic again, with the intention of trying it again. Well, I'm tired of tinkering with this little project now, and I think I'm just going to stick with my OEM grille. So, if you have the skills to prep/paint this one, or have a "friendly connection" in a paint/body shop, here's your chance to save some money!!! I would suggest a little light prep work (fine sanding or maybe even a scotchbrite pad) to give a nice smooth surface to the outer surround areas. Please "PM" me with any questions.
