need help with engine bay cleaning. - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

so i cleaned my engine bay followed dylans instructions..but didnt see any open wires and all so i cleaned it lightly...now my passenger side halo wont shut off....can some one please help me here??? im not sure what to do and its bothering me!

this just tells me how to clean it...im tryin to figure out why the light is staying on if i dont have the halos on

Oh my bad. Sorry I should have read your OP more carefully. I would try disconnecting the battery for 10-15 minutes and see if that resets it. More than likely you shorted a circuit somewhere.

so then how do i fix the shorted circuit?

Disconnecting the battery, waiting, and then hooking back up *should* fix the issue. Essentially you are just rebooting the car. So if disconnecting the battery works then the shorted circuit issue is fixed. If it doesn't work than it's still shorted.

ok so if i turn the light knob all the way to the left.. itll turn off all the lights.... but if i put it back on auto it keeps the passenger side light on....what the hell
