Ok, my car is officially pissing me off

First of all, the car pretends my zune is not even plugged into the USB port. I hit the "aux" button and zune doesn't come up no matter what. So fine, my zune sucks. I plug in my droid x, it indexes for 5 minutes and then goes to saying nothing is plugged in, then it will randomly start indexing again.

Fine, so i try to just play songs via bluetooth which sucks because they have no bass. It seems like if am not listening to a song on the phone within the first 2 minutes of starting the car, i cant just push play on my phone later on and listen to music, i cant find a way to select my droid x on bluetooth so i can listen to it at my leisure. Whats the deal? what is going on?

Does anyone have any tips or advice for me. I am studying for the bar exam so i dont really have the time to take it to the dealer.

welcome to the world of "market share".

I can tell you from personal experience that Apple iproducts get 95% of the engineering and testing time when it comes to bluetooth and USB devices. the Zune and Blackberry get almost no time at all and the android phones are just now starting to get that last 4% of consideration.

Compatibility engineering/testing is a hard thing to sell when you have limited budget, resources and time. So, the products that hold small amounts of market share get little to no engineering effort, and even less quality testing time. even then they DO get testing time and defects are written against the missing functionality, the defects will get "accepted" as low risk, because the market share is so low, your only going to effect less than 5% of your customers.

Try putting the songs on your zune like it was just a hard drive, instead of importing them into the zune software.
