Stuck-Up SS'ers??

So I'm driving in to work this morning, and I see a new 2011 SS with dealer tags still on her pull into traffic. She was a PURTY thing, white with orange stripes. I slide up behind her and we ride down the road a little ways, then the guy decides he's gonna leave me, accelerates and leaves me behind, only to get caught by a traffic light.

I slide up next to him, just to give him a thumbs up or wave, but he's turned away, OBVIOUSLY ignoring me. I pull ahead of him and wave as I pass. Still ignoring me, he gooses it and comes around and turns onto the expressway...
NOT THAT I CARE! But it seems "SS drivers" are STUCK UP!! I tried to wave to another SS guy a couple of weeks ago, IGNORE!!!!! OTHER Camaro owners are cool, almost always get acknowledgement from those folks with a thumbs up or wave, it just seems that SS drivers think THEY are the 'elite' and anybody else is unworthy...

OF COURSE I realize Camaro5 SS owners are NOT included in this rant. So don't get me wrong..The guy will probably trade it in for a 350Z or something later on....

I've found SS drivers to be quite receptive to my waves and such.

I will say that I get more nods, waves and looks from SS owners than I do all the snobby V6 owners around here who think they are driving around in a $50,000 car...

I passed a V6 on the expressway on Sunday and I waved. He wouldn't even look at me. Snobs come in all flavors. Most Camaro owners are cool though (V6 or V8).

All I have around me are V6 owners that I pass on my way to work in the morning. I am the only V8 I have seen in my town and the 3 surrounding me, however we all wave at each other no problem. Some people just get behind that wheel and think no one else matters cuz they are "so cool"

If anything you should have yelled, "At least I own mine!"

Same here. Unless I see the badging on yours, I have no idea what you're driving other than the fact that it's a Camaro.
I'm personally a friendly and respectful driver, but sometimes, I'm told I come off as being a snob because I don't acknowledge waves or something. It isn't that I'm intentionally doing it, but my driving time is often the only time I get to really think about things going on at home, at work, or wherever. Unfortunately, I'm one of those people who can really get wrapped up in that and I genuinely don't even recognize the fact that people are waving or looking or trying to be friendly. It's not that I turn into an asshole, but I don't acknowledge these things because I don't even notice that they're occuring.
So remember that not always is the person being a jerk (although sometimes they may be). They could just be lost in thought or have been having a bad day that day or something. Try to give first-offenders the benefit of the doubt, even though its frustrating.

If its dealer tags its not an SS owner; he probably drives a civic.
