Thumbs up One Thousand dollar challenge

Ok motor heads here’s the challenge, for an LS3 or L99 assuming there the same, you have one thousand dollars to spend on "faster". I know to some faster means ¼ mile, some 1/8th mile and some it means top speed. So here are the rules…..
  1. You must state 1/8, ¼ or top speed.
  2. You only have one thousand dollars to spend, that includes labor if you can’t do it yourself. (and lets assume nobody is an expert mechanic)
  3. You must include part numbers and names or at least where to get them.
That’s it in a nut shell so lets hear it for those of us that just want "Bolt on Power" for the stated reasons.

PS, Mods can we have a bolt on power sticky thread?

I would think computer tuning is where it starts. Diablo or superchips or what have you.

Then maybe some headers, but that depends entirely on how bad the stockers are.

intake, exhaust really don't help much. 2.25" pipes are more than sufficient for 400whp. intake is spectacularly useless except for improvements in sound.

Cam and computer tuning. The ls3 heads are very capable of bigger flows in stock form. Intake and exhaust are the real limiting factor and if they needed to be changed would be a budget buster.

Nitrous would be the easies and biggest bang for your $
