Whining noise
Now that it is hot and I use the AC more now I hear a whining noise when I go up in revs. What could this be, sounds like it is coming from the engine departmemt.

I just say shut up Denise and it goes away. J/K She is a sweetheart!
What RPM range? Is your car one of the ones recalled for the BCM reprogram? Get your vin checked to see if you need to have the program change. Your dealer should be able to tell you or contact BeckyD@rogerschevrolet.com She is a forum member and a great contact. She can tell if you send her your VIN

Run, don't walk to the dealership. The last time I heard that was when I was pulling in the garage last Sunday. I took it out last night, heard the fan belt squeal, and now no air.

Well I put CRC belt dressing on my belts and noticed the steering felt firmer and much better, the noise was totally gone, but I think it was due to the cooler temps. 80s at night vs. 95-100s during daytime. Felt like a new car again. You know it kind of sounded like a dry pulley wheel in need of lube.
