Vacuum is your best friend- prevention is the best medicine.
This stuff works pretty well too- although I haven't tried many others to compare.

I sometimes use a pretty damp micro fiber towel just to give them a once over...usually at night and then morning comes and they are dry. I don't soak them though. Usually that's after a good vacuum.

I would throw a fabric guard on them. Do a good cleaning with a suitable fabric cleaner first (I suggest W2 from gtechniqe) then spray on a fabric guard (I would go with I1 from Gtechniqe) You can also put this stuff on your carpets and headliner which will make it easier to remove dirt/dust from them.

Vacuum and lint roller.
If need be a damp sponge and soap for mild stains |

A good cleaner should be able to be applied, lightly agitated with fingers or soft interior brush, and blotted clean. The process may vary by product, but that's the general idea.
