How much is my 97 anniversary camaro worth?

Hey Guys,

I know this question is kind of hard to answer since not everyone has the same opinion on value but I wanted to get some feedback from other camaro owners as to what they think these cars are selling for.

I have a 97 white with orange huggar stripes 30th anniversary camaro. Has the 30th logos on the seats, houndstooth, etc. It has 80K original miles, t tops, automatic, power everything, new tires, new brakes, new plugs and wires, etc. Car is in amazing condition and I have plenty of pics available.

I have been trying to sell it for a few months and while I am getting enough people emailing and calling, I haven't been able to seal a deal. I know times are tough and not everyone is shopping for these cars but what should I be asking? Some have told me to ask 10K while others have told me to ask around 7K. When I look around on the internet to see what others are selling them for, the price range is crazy. I have seen some with a million miles on them and they are asking like $13K for them.

What do you guys think?

I wouldn't let her go for less than 10k. I haven't seen the car, but depending on condition, maybe a little more

I have been advertising it at $8500 which I think is more than fair but still haven't been able to sell it. Maybe I need to list it on ebay motors or auto trader and stop messing around with craigslist.

You have the car priced cheap enough. Selling cars and especially classic stuff if funny. IF you wanted one for what you are trying to sell your's for , come hell or high water you wouldn't find one. Now you have it for sale no one wants it. Be patient, someone will come along. I would price the car higher and give yourself some room to come down.

seems priced right. If you are the original owner and have alot of documentation on it i am sure you can get away with 10k

3rd owner - no documentation. :(

I'll leave my asking price at around $8500 I guess.

I really hope you sell that baby because it looks really nice. A different time and I'd be on a plane to get it!

Where abouts do you live? I'd be happy to hold onto it for a bit if you really do want to buy it. Up to you.
