Where Can I See The ZL1?? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I'm stuck trying to decide on the wheels and stripe. I think seeing the car in person would help me. Does anyone know if it will be making an appearance any time anywhere? I live in Indiana. Anyone who has seen the car - did your opinion change on these things afterwards? Thanks!

I've seen it twice in person now, once at NYC Auto Show and at Oshawa. Both times I've seen it, it had the polished wheels on it and the black strip. I like the stripe and the polished wheels but have decided to go with the black wheels (they make the car look more evil!). Maybe down the road I'll order a set of the polished wheels depending on price, I'm happy they made the black wheels standard though!

C5 should have a place where the confirmed upcoming showings of ZL1 are listed.

I'd be willing to burn a few tanks of gas to see one in person.

It could be a dedicated thread in the ZL1 information resources sticky, and the top post could be edited with current info & "current as of / date."

I will phrase it in the form of a request.

Would one of our sage Moderators be willing to request this information from the appropriate source?

I did attempt a Google search, but could not find such a list in existence elsewhere.

Me too! I kicked myself when I found out I missed an opportunity to see the beast in person in Austin.

EXACTLY, I live in El Paso. Austin is only halfway across the state. (Still 565 miles)

I found out about that one after it was too late.

I guess I can go to the Indy Auto Show in December but that's after I order (hopefully). I missed it at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway this summer and I was there! It was so close!

I think having a place that lists the show locations for the traveling ZL1's would be great. I am just not sure that anyone at Chevy Public relations wants to give any of us that information. The Miami Auto Show is at the end of October about the same time as SEMA. I am pretty sure one of them will be SEMA but I am only hopeful about one of the other ZL1's showing off at the Miami Show. Having locations where it will be on display will be great.

Al made that announcement a few weeks ago while the ZL1 was on display with the black wheels.
