Body kit help (:

Kk So I'm looking at the 3d Carbon Body kit...at two different sites...

One for the whole kit runs at 489$ without shipping and is Urethane..?
says 5 pcs... Front air dam, Side skirts (left / right ) and Rear Lower Side skirt (left / right )

The other says 4 pc set . Front air Dam, R/L Side Skirts , Rear Lower Spats R/L.
For 489 $ as well...
and is Polyurethane..

What's the difference between the two... Poly and Urethane...also guessing one added the side skirts as a single (1 pc) etc... etc..

The 5 piece is the spoiler kit. Must be a misprint.

I got mine from Billet anything. See my signature. They call the four piece kit what you describe, the 5 piece kit as they call it is what I got, everything you mention plus the spoiler.

Edit: they call it the 5 piece now, which is correct.

The kit is polyurethane, one place just calls it out differently.

I think the 4 piece thing is a misprint. The bodykit looks to me like it has 5 pieces....the front air dam, the 2 side skirts and the rear is split into 2 pieces(a left and a right). Polyurethane is the same as just urethane, its just a shortened name. Ive never seen a bodykit come ready to spray. It needs to be wiped down(oil free) and sprayed with a promoter such as bullydog and use flex agent in the paint.

Polyurethane is raw. Some Poly kits require a lot of work, air bubbles need to be filled etc. This kit was perfectly smooth, my body shop said he has never seen such a clean kit, he said he just primed and painted.

The link you posted is the same, it's the 3d carbon kit. Front chin, left and right side skirts, and left and right rear spats. the 4 piece is a misprint, unique auto did that at first too.

Hard to say, I had the whole kit painted, and the front and rear bumper covers patched and repainted and the spoiler and custom painted LS7 style blackout on the front and rear and had them install it. If I had to guess to paint and install probably $600-$800
