An example of one of our abysmally slow LLTs
Not the best video... this is against a '96 V8 LT1. If you look closely you can see where I caught him at the end and got the W (by a nose). The slip is in Bella's glovebox at the body shop or I'd post it, too. The 4th gen owner told me later he was giving it all he had and was quite impressed with my V6. By the way-- his LT1 was not stock (had CAI, exhaust and I don't know what else). I know this should probably go in the vs. forum but I figured you guys might like to see it I'm aware the LT1 was a weak motor-- but our LLTs are far from slow. Especially since all I have on mine is a BBK CAI. :party0048:

That day, I ran in the 12.50 bracket in the 1000 ft (I was too fast for this class though and kept having to dump it at the end-- I HATE fender racing) and I usually run in the low 14s in the quarter. I don't remember what the time was but when I get ahold of that slip I'll look at it for you! It seems like, if I remember correctly, I was 12.18 and he was 12.47.

Hmmmm, where are our usual V8 haters that lurk in this part of the forum? :party0048:

It is super old, LOL. It was the first time I'd ever been there. Centerville Raceway in Centerville, Arkansas.

Now you know you're not suppose to win, This will upset the balance of life. No V6 can whip a V8.
Fantastic, good job.

Yeah, I love a smiley that does the Pulp Fiction booty-shake
:party0048: Maybe just a lil'. I'm sure you've seen the few V8 guys that like to come 'round this side of the forum and get snarky.

Very nice. I like to see out little LLT posting up some good numbers.
I still have yet to take my Auto V6 to the dyno or track; but, I'm dying to see what it can do after the mods I've put on it, lol.
