Somebody please explain.......

Ok, first of all, I am a newb when it comes to road racing. Not talking about NASCAR here, which I care nothing about.

Somebody please explain to me, all of the different road racing organizations there are, and what ones feature the Camaro specifically as it seems like there is more than one. All of the different organizations are confusing and hard to follow especially when I'm not at home to watch the races on my TV.

Where can I go to see racing schedules, and standings?

Where can I go to watch the races, either on TV, or the internet?

*edit I'd also like to know what events are coming up in southern california/arizona/nevada in the next 4 months.

Follow our buddy Jeff Bucknum! There's also a European Camaro racing league.

World-challenge and grand-am.

"GS" in Grand-Am started life as a real camaro, as well as "GTS" in World Challenge.

Grand-Am has Camaros in both the Rolex series and the Continental series. In Rolex, they are GT (Grand Touring) class, in Continental, they are GS (Grand Sport). Rolex has the faster of the cars. It's a tube frame built racecar that shares very little with the production Camaro. The Continental series has what's very close to a production Camaro. The website for Grand-Am is and the races are televised on Speed. You missed the 2011 season. The next season starts in late January with the 24 Hours at Daytona endurance race.

There are other series that race Camaros, like the SCCA World Challenge.
