Best long island dealers?

Hey guys,

I need to take my car in for service, as i need a bunch of things done to her... like recalls for reprograming and oil change ect. I want to know who you think is the best dealer around.. I live out in glen cove and im close to east hills but i hear horror stories about them. I need a loaner for the day, and really have not found any chevy dealers that i feel comfortable with. Most of them to be honest seem sort of dingy. Any recommendations?

Honestly I went to East Hills myself for the reprogram and it went pretty well. No bull, no damage to the car etc. However, I did stay with the car. If you're willing to take a trip to the south side, Paul Conte is pretty good.

Btw, what did you hear about them? I'd like to know as I've actually started a thread to find out just this.

I went to East Hills and had a miserable experience. Went there to have the car reprogrammed to recognize the PDIM. Finally got it working yesterday after 4 weeks (4 visits). 2nd trip there involved the disappearance of my iPod.

They will be sending me a check for a new iPod. I feel like they weren't sure of what they were doing as far as the reprogram goes and I wound up paying a lot more out of pocket than I should have.

Could be an 'anomaly' case though. The service writer was extremely helpful and Eric the manager tried to help, but the tech incompetence on this one was up there.

Stay away from Cars Unlimited of Suffolk County dba Nessinger Chevrolet. See the link below if you want the whole story.

What type of wheels are you looking for? You can go aftermarket for wheels and save some $$
