Did anyone else notice the new grille on the ZL1 options guide? It was on page 3 and was on a red camaro. Would that be available to get?

Looks to me the standard grill. I do not think the newer grill on the 2013 vert is available. Who knows? It might be the one we get for 2012 but kinda doubt it.
Also, there is no mention if heritage grill being an option.
I stand to be corrected on anything as this is all new information.

This will be the standard ZL1 grill for the 2012 and 2013 ZL1's.

Tip to the aftermarket: Why don't you prepare an overlay for the two central bars of the upper grille that can be paint-to-match the exterior color?!

Is it actually confirmed that this grille is going to be on the 2012 coupes?

The Dealer Guide had a pic of a ZL1 with the new grille AND the old eggcrate grille.

There was no mention of a grille option though so I'm confused

Thanks bro! I was getting ready for the old egg crate grill as I want to it be stock even its the egg crate or the newer design. Don't matter much to me I just need to start looking at pics more to get used to the change when I see it on my car and no surprise as a grill change is all. thanks again bro.

I don't know. I think this was just a result of no appropriate pictures of the new grille / editing error / they just didn’t notice or think people would notice. There were some other mistakes in the guide if you ask me, so I wouldn’t be surprised if this were the case.

There isn't a grille option so you get what you get. I think it will be the new grille. If it happens to be the egg crate, it should be an easy upgrade a few months after the car is delivered as for sure the new one will be standard in 2013.

The ZL1 has a unique grille - however, there are still pictures circulating of the Red Showcar with the Camaro grille that comes with the LS/LT/SS --

The guide was marked "GM Confidential" and was not supposed to have seen and scrutinized by the public. The yellow coupe and gray convertible show the ZL1 grill. Thanks Fbodfather.
