Interior Stitching Color Choice.

.

Does anyone think there might be a choice of color on the interior stitching - before the cut off date for order changes?

Red is great on a red car. OK on black, gray, or white, but not so much on blue or orange.

With instant communication, how much would it cost to get them to change thread color on some of the seats?

I would pay to have matching color. Considering the current palate, I think a choice of red, white, blue, and orange would suffice.

While we're on the subject of color matching, engine cover too, plz.

------------

Edit, accidental omission of Yellow, which would be iffy with red stitching, depending on the customer's taste.

I second everything stated by Scarrzz. I'm ready to pay for these features.

I agree with you but I think it's going to be what you see is what you get. I don't think the red accent color will look too bad on the IBM. After all red is going to be on the ZL1 badging, and everyone knows there's no shortage of those on the exterior So you'll match there.

I think the two colors where it'll really clash is IOM and yellow. I personally like it, but I'm getting a more neutral color in AGM.

My first post so forgive me.
Have a copy of my 1EY37 order, allocation group CAM, order # QBB---, just curious if this looks right for "first build" allocation?

Welcome to Camaro5.

We have an allocations thread where this question would fit nicely. It's in the stickies at the top, but here is a link.

If I knew the answer I would tell Ya, but someone there may have some insight. Just go to the last page and try it there, and we'll also add you to our list of people who have ordered.

Congrats, ZL1 is so gonna rock.

Unfortunately, I think one can get any interior color one wants as long as it's black with red stitching. I'm not wild about black interiors, and I'd prefer a nice saddle, but I understand that in order to help keep the cost down on the ZL1, it is black with red stitching.

Nope in chevy's world the higher end cars seem to get less options. It is to keep the cost down but I have always wonder by how much?

54,995 is base without interior option what would base be if they had gray or tan as options???

they somehow keep the base corvette cost competitive with interior choices.

I second Scarz, just flew out LA to check out the ZL1 in person for the first time. I didn't like the orange stitching in the online pictures, and I REALLY do NOT like how it looks in person. I would pay a premium for grey stitching to match Ashen grey exterior.

I guese they had to make a choice as to what color to make the stitching. Probably used a panel of people like they did the colors. Just wear some shades, crank up the music and enjoy the view of passing mustangs to your left and right of you.
