Going with the Harrop 1900!

After much thought and a debate with the inner self ,I decided to go with the unit from our friends down under.

I really like the clean looks and the design of the twin heat exchangers within the blower body.
The rear cog drive is standard equipment but not overly noisy.
The polished billit fuel rails are also very sweet.

Not to many of them here state side but everywhere in Austrailia.

I'm really looking forward to having something a bit different that will meet all the power needs I'm looking for.

thanks to Josh @ ottperformance for the great deal

the pic below is for the G8 but the Camaro is about the same except for the inlet.

Installing myself with the canned tune and then will be taking it up to Randy at RPM for a real tune.

I have headers and Roto intake so got to get the dyno tune.

Rotofab is making a connection tube for me since they don't really stock them, but have made a few in the past.

Rotofab actually makes the intake tube for Harrop for the stock intake in the kit.

G8's around 525 RW without headers!

The smaller unit will give instant power which equates to lots of tire smoke and fun.

Exactly....thats what all my research has found.

I had been surfing a ton of websites in Australia and the torque curve down low exceeds anything of the larger units available, and thats where you need it 99% of the time.

Heck, if a 1900 is good enough for the CTSV and ZL1 LSA engine that GM puts out ,is it good enough for me.

Should be an absolute blast from 1st thru 3rd gear.

I'm not looking for the king of dyno numbers and will be keeping the boost low since I don't plan on building a forged bottom end or racing at the track any....well maybe once or twice

Best of luck on your build. Should bring you some sweet results! Replace the rubber hoses with braided stainless and you are set my friend!

Maybe not,

Here is the link to the company that is a distributor.
I don't see the G8 application,but it doesn't hurt to ask.
I'm sure he could get it and they negotiate on price
