Watkins Glen Track weekend rental - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Hey Gang , We are going to try to rent the track, this spring for the whole weekend , the price is steep, so if we had some venders there , would you guys be willing to attend work shops and listen to them for a little while , if they helped us cover the price of the track.
There is nothing set in Stone Yet, just trying to get a number of people who would be interested in attending, Please put your name on a list , so we can have #s to show ....
Thanks and have a Happy New Year and hopfully we can pull this off.

UpstateC5 will be working on putting on its own show in early May at a chevy Dealer in Geneva, (instead of going to the windmill show) much like RickRay did in Montreal in the fall, Then we will also be going to the track to run The 3 laps ,like we usually do. so write that on the calender. Watkins Glen is on my bucket list.
I just ran Daytona International Speedway in October.

As long as I can schedule it far enough in advance, Vegas and I would defiantly be there. Have you received a target price from WGI yet? I know we had discussed some big numbers. Meaning a lot of people are needed to divvy up the cost and some great sponsors. I'd love to see 100 C5s there at least.

I went to The Glen last fall with the Upstate crew and had a great time. Even though we only did 3 laps it was well worth the time and money, the track is less than a 3 hour drive from the border.

Count me in for whatever event you guys come up with, I'll attend the seminars/meetings. My son sold his STI but hopefully you'll let him bring his new BMW 335.

Just to clarify these will be two different events , the track event is depending on the tracks schedule.

On another related note....Keith - we should arrange for you and your brother to meet a few of us at Cayuga sometime next summer. My DRs could use a few more runs. And I suppose now othat I'm cam'd as soon as the warranty runs out this April I'll probably drop the output shaft or something. Oh well
