ARK N-2 or DT-S Last chance to weigh in.

I just ordered the ARK DT-S

But can change my mind towards the ARK N-II no later than 9:00am tomorrow morning when they actually run my card.

My car is a commuter car...anywhere from 80-160 miles per day 3-4 days a week. when I drive it.

I build custom harley's and custom stainless exhaust systems for just about anything..but didn't want to screw with this car..because it sounds touchy with CEL's etc.. (Unlike my carbed Harleys and Triumphs.)

Here is my web-site

www.super-rat.com

Everything I build is aggressive and loud and often turboe'd etc....

I just am not sure that I want that much drone with my commuter car.

But I do like loud.

I love the blued out tips on the ARK DT-S system.

I wish that was an option for the N-II.

Any other people want to weigh in, it would be much appreciated.

Thanks

John

I have the N II exhaust and havent looked back. The drone is very minimal, but the sound is amazing. Very aggressive when you want it to be. The NII uses a larger diameter piping so it sounds a little more throaty and deeper than the DTS. Either way, ARK has great systems.

If you don't want drone play it safe and go with DT-S. I have the n-2 and the drone at higher speeds is pretty significant. I don't care at all about it but sensitive ears might be annoyed. That said its still not to loud to hear the stereo of anything like that.

They don't make headers for the 2012 2LT V6 that I know of.

Something to do with the exhaust manifold being a single cast w/ the heads or something like that.

I want to thank everybody who commented on this thread...and for the video's.

I never really knew what was meant when people on this forum said that the V6 doesn't sound like V8's when you you change out the exhaust to a more free-flowing system.

But I sure do now.

It makes the car sound more like a tuned import to me. (Still way better than stock)

Anybody know where I can get a plug and play catch-can?

Those tail-lights are bad-ass too....very cool.
