It sounds like this is missing the whole programmable logic board for the rapid fire brake, sequential turn, and show mode.
The look of the brake and turn modes are why I bought this set, the fact they are LED does nothing for me, as the heat is not an issue in the stock units. I love how many segments there are to the Turn Signals, and how nicely they flow.
