I know it's a long way off but I am searching for my first Camaro and was wondering when does GM announce new colors for the next year model?

Not really concerned with options etc I'm just curious about colors for that year.

To be honest I have no clue when that information will be released though. I'd be surprised if they did add colors since it seems they just like taking them away.

Ah damn! That would be my luck. GM will finally release info in November saying that we can get the Camaro in an awesome gold color and BAM, next month?

I sure hope they add a blue. I may be wrong, but didnt they take away the only other blue that they had? Either way, i hope they get a medium-ish blue.

They should make a new yellow. I don't know the name of the color, but the type of yellow the 2002 cavaliers were available in. More like a school bus yellow than a canary yellow.

Maybe they will bring the original blue: Marina blue.

My 1967 SS/RS Camaro is that color and I love it. And my 2010 SS/RS is IBM.

Blue is cool!

Here's what I would like to see on the Camaro:
GLF Ice Blue metalic/Carlisle Blue Metalic. This is now a Corvette color. This is a light blue similar to The Silver Blue that was on my '64 Corvette Coupe.
More light colors are needed IMO.
