I've been searching the forums about vinyl wrap for a few days trying to sift through all the info but haven't been able to find what I'm looking for. I'm thinking about doing an entire vinyl wrap myself. It looks difficult but I think it would be fun to learn how to do. I'm wondering if anyone here has done it themselves and if so how much vinyl was used for the entire process.

Yeah I'm kind of worried, but the good thing about vinyl is if you mess up you can always just use a new sheet. I've watched a couple of videos and it seems like its gonna be difficult but I think it would be cool to know how to do it.

Doing the whole car is going to be a challenge - especially the front end. We have seen a few people on a variety of forums do it, but most do take the car somewhere if they want the entire thing done.

Lots of people have bought our Carbon Fiber Wrap in large enough rolls for the hood / roof / trunk / etc. A lot of areas are pretty straight forward, just takes time. The more complex areas will take a high effort, and likely some trial and error. We have had a number of inquiries over the past year about doing the whole car. In the end most start with a less ambitious game plan.

How much do you need? Ball park, how big is the available roll? Ours is 54". Measure what you want to cover panel wise and go from there. Length of the side of the car x 2 + hood size + roof size + trunk + bumpers. Add is some extra for handling and panel mulligans / learning and there you go.

Your crazy. Sounds like something i would try. Lol. Plan on messing it up atleast once, use heat and talk to local shops, it always helps me to talk to someone face to face
