OCC Nationals? Oshawa plant tour? Whats the scoop?

Hey guys,

Recently got into the Camaro online community, and my girlfriend got us a room for June 15-17!!!

She said the Ontario Camaro Club has the nationals and they do the plant tour. From our googling though, there is no indication of factory tours this year? Is this something that is just assumed or was it a one time thing...?

Do I have to pre-register for the show or for the factory tour? Does anyone have any info? Im totally in the dark

Thanks!

was in Oshawa last year. included a plant tour.

I was a special event which included the Camaro Homecoming.

this year they are meeting in a different location. there is a meet at the

Powertrain assembly plant in St Chatherine Ont. int Aug which has

a tour of the powertrain plant. Dont think anybody is doing a tour

of the Oshawa plant this year.

the CCFBG- camaro country F body group - has a show in early June

in Fort Erie ont. go to their web site www.ccfbg.com for info.

I am going to both of these.

cheers

Going to both shows here as well. My dad works at the powertrain plant in St.Catharines and always has his drag car in the show. I'll have my camaro there with him this year.

Haven't been to the one in Fort Erie before, but looking forward to it! I won't be in town for the OCC Nationals, but I'm thinking most people from that show will probably be at the other two shows as well, so I shouldn't be missing too much.

Here's a link for information on the 2011 GM Show & Shine at the engine plant in St. Catharines.

http://gmpowertrain.ca/index.html

I'm sure they will update it once spring gets here.

GlennP,
go to the regional forums
Canada
The first thread is an announcement about the 4th Annual BBOMG (buyers and builders meet and greet)
to be held this year August 10th, 11th, and 12th
In St. Catharines,Ontario at the engine assembly plant.Apparently there will be an opportunity to have a plant tour there.
all info is there in the thread.

Looks like the mods moved your post to Canada regional forum. If you find this again just look at the top of the page for the BBOMG announcement.

Fort Erie is the first year for the CCFBG show as it's their 10th anniversary show. There will be LOTS to do all weekend.

Go to www.ccfbg.com for details and hotel information. The cruise along the Niagara river should NOT be missed.

Yeah, I checked out some of the details and it seems the cruise is going to be one of the major highlights for the weekend! Should be a sight to see all those cars winding down River Road!
