Hey guys, hate to do this, but I did a search on a catch can install. there are so many differant pages its not even funny.

So, here we go. can we build a how to install a catch can tread.

#1 installing a catch can on a V8 with no breather.

#2 installing a catch can on a V8 with a breather.

#3 installing a catch can on a supercharged engine.

I will be using the #2 install. wwhat is the differance in #1 and #2

There should be no why you need one and why you dont need one in this tread. We should keep it as instructional as possable..

please feel free to add anything to the 1,2,3 if it needs to be on there. I saw 2 line systems, and 3 line systems..

So if I don't have a breather I leave the air intake line hooked up, but if I put a breather cap on then I take off and plug the hose going into the air intake correct?

If you google your question on how to install a catch can you will find your answer. SC2150 (member on Camaro5) has written a DIY instructions. I did a google search and found his post. Had no problems.

Correct. And just to be clear when using a breather you would plug both the hole in the intake and the other end as well.
