First Shop Built ZL1 (Clone) Video

I stopped by ADM Performance today and this is what I got to see... The first (that I know of) ADM Built ZL1 Camaro.

Sweet, besides the CAI what else has the master done to ZL1?

How can you say it is a ZL1 when all they did was drop a LSA engine in a SS? Now put everything else in the car like mrc for instance and then maybe ,just maybe you can call it a ZL1.

It's cool and all but i guess why? Even if you cloned everything on the car to be identical you still wouldn't have the suspension and would end up with a clone that cost more than the real deal.

I was thinking that they where making this clone to figure out how to best mood the real thing also people are going to want and get a good 600wrhp if the mustang will have about the same,

We ahve many parts ready for the real beast.

Your right it is just Fascia and Powerplant in a Vert.

The Car came to us from forum member PilotScott for a little front fascia upgrade.During the upgrade we mocked up the ZL1 Blower Package for him for a photoshoot.....He said Ill take it.

We knew we were up against to much boost but we wanted adjustability,So we turned to our friends at Lingenfelter for their 2 piece upper pulley system(We used stock balancer off an LSA)The Largest Blower Pulley LPE offers is a 2.55 " which gives 2-3 psi average over a stock CTSV or ZL1 Blower Pulley.Lingenfelter will be making us a stock pulley size in 2 piece config for pump gas tune.

The car has the ADM LS3 Conversion with a GT 11 Cam,Stainless Power Headers,Stock Heads with Dual valve springs,ADM ZL1 Race Intake,Tr6 Plugs
ZL1 Fuel Pump,63lb injectors.

We removed the TVS 2300 MAGGIE for a SMALLER BLOWER (ZL1 TVS 1900)





644 RWHP on 111octane through the stock automatic transmission and 3:45 gears.

All I can say is VERY IMPRESSIVE

NOTE-This car will get a larger pulley in the near future and be retuned for pump gas!

Notice the grille, it says SS. He isn't "cloning" by any means. If anything he is doing it the RIGHT way by putting the SS on the car. If he had the ZL1 emblem or anything crazy like that, then yes. Cloning, fake, etc can be said. So now instead of people saying he's trying to be an ZL-1, he isn't other then having ZL1 exterior parts.
