Edelbrock X-Pipe

I know that it's a discontinued part, but I'm looking for an Edelbrock X-Pipe for my '12 SS LS3. Anybody have one or know where I can get one?

Hey, just an FYI, I was found a used one on here and had it installed. I was disappointed, not a noticeable difference in any category except maybe WOT.

I also have the LS3.

I took it for granted that the X would be bent the same as the OEM pipe it was replacing. IT ISN'T!! Found that out after cutting the OEM resonator and mid pipe piece out. Therefore the x pipe will/does hang lower than your stock system. Because the X hangs lower your tranny tunnel brace will not bold back on. To use the brace you will need to get spacers and longer bolts.

I would have been better off saving the $$ spent and buying a cat back or axle back system.

Just my opinion.

What's wrong with the Magnaflow True X pipe?

As for the "hitting", most muffler shops weld the pipes in as they're going to sit. Since the Camaro catback is held in place by so few hangars, you have to push the pipes up, then weld. When the tension is taken off, it should fall back in it's original place.

I've got one installed and had no problems with the tunnel brace (LS3). Perhaps you have it upside down. I think I remember it being a little skewed.
