Upstate GM Show & Track

Upstate GM Show & Track is set for Saturday, June 2nd 2012. If you have ever wondered what it would be like to run your car on a professional road course now is your opportunity to find out. The Watkins Glen International road course is one of the most challenging tracks in the eastern US. This day starts at 9:00 AM with the show portion of our program being held at Mike Barnard Chevrolet Buick, located in Geneva, NY. This all Chevrolet special event is limited to the first 100 cars and is expected to have over seventy 5th Gen Camaros in addition to Corvettes and many other GM cars. See the new 2012 Camaro ZL1. There will be music, food, 50/50 raffle, and much more. At 3:00PM we launch all participating cars onto one of two scavenger hunt road rally routes designed to end at the Watkins Glen International race track, where you then run the track. (Promise - no dirt roads!) Awards for the show are identified below and each entrant will receive a dash plaque.

Tickets for the show are $10 per car if paid prior to May 15th and $15 per car day of the show. A separate $15 fee is due day of the event to run the Watkins Glen International track.

For answers to additional questions about this event you can email Steve at USGMSAT@live.com. To pre-register for this event go to USGMSAT to download the event flyer. At the bottom of the flyer is a tear-off section to register with. Fill this section out and mail it along with a check or money order to the address shown on this flyer section.

For those coming from out of town you will find below a list of hotels within a twenty mile area. Rooms are selling out fast so do not delay in securing your room. The Microtel located in Seneca Falls has a limited block of rooms reserved for this event for Friday night, June 1st. Inform them your reservation is for the Upstate GM Show & Track event. Rooms must be secured before May 1st.

All excess proceeds from this event will be donated to the Tom Golisano Children’s Hospital.

The second Upstate event at Watkins Glen is during the last weekend of June, we get a Camaro Corral for the 6 hour race and hopefully also a parade lap in between races. $35 total for the weekend and that includes having your ticket mailed to you. I'm already signed for the second event and am seriously considering going again this year for the 3 lap shoot out.

The Upstate crew are an extremely friendly group of Camaro enthusiasts.

I went to Mid Ohio last year and met alot of the Upstate group and did the parade lap. I signed up for the june race but 3 laps around The Glen sounds very cool

Im on the fence I have mid ohio on june 8 and watkins glen on the 29.

I didnt know you were going back to ohio , none of us are going , come to the show instead and you will get three laps on the track ,and be closer to home just saying
