I'm wondering about design flaws. These are built on assembly lines where everything is the same. Unless someone fouled up, there could be more of these show up. Expect flack from Dodge and Ford owners. Hey we do it to the other owners, just hope there aren't many issues with this awesome ride. Good job on releasing it GM, hope it keeps the doors open. Bummed that Pontiac is going away but I hope they make an Impala SS from the G8 GXP. Might even be able to get the El Camino now but that brings more expense that GM just can't afford right now. Maybe when things settle down a bit. Come on GM, pull this off. I have stock that's worthless right now. LOL

THIS is the reason not to buy first year cars. I still am waiting to see my first Camaro, but no way in hell I would buy one before the kinks are worked out.
My 2006 GTI was a first year car (in the US) but was in europe for 2 years, so I still haven't had any major issues whatsoever in 40,000. Still love this car, and since Pontiac is kaput I guess I'll have fo find a way to fit babies in the Camaro, not a G8. |

I wouldn't be surprised at all if all of you new Camaro owners were getting calls from your dealerships soon about a service bulletin regarding this.

Did you give them permission to drive your car all over the place or they just did it,if stripes are dealer installed it should be done at the dealer

Don't know if this has been posted or not but this is the GM bulletin for this issue.
Mine is going in on Monday but its going on OUR lift tomorrow to scope it out..........I'm driving my car this weekend!
