The Ultimate Workout: Claybar + Hand Wax/Buff

So I decided to claybar and hand wax my car yesterday for the first time after two years of ownership. I typically just pay to have it waxed but they don't use claybars. Holy crap!I think the only part of my body that's not sore are my ears. I got the best sleep I've had in months, total exhaustion.

And I will NEVER do that again lol! I'd rather pay a professional, I like to spend my Sundays relaxing...not spending 6 hours to fully detail a vehicle.

Hats off to you detail guys that do this for a living or a side business.

I hosted a private detailing class this weekend for a local Mini club... a part of it was hand polishing... I only did about half a mini and my arm felt like it was about to fall off. Its times like that I remember why I use a machine for everything! My shoulders can't take that kind of punishment.

I just did this too over the last couple weeks; a hood here, a fender there. Came out great 'cept I can't get a couple swirlies out. More/different product on order

Yeah I am out of shape and I just did the Camaro, a regular cab truck and a crew cab Silverado in the last week.

My arms, shoulders and back are sore.
