Stock SS exhaust price

I am going to list my stock SS cat-back exhaust in the FS section, but was just wondering what is a reasonable price to ask? It's got about 200 miles on it.

I'm taking mine off in a week, but from what I've seen, you'll have a hard time giving it away.

Yeah good luck! You may just want to keep it in case you ever get rid of the car. It`s easier to sell a used aftermarket exhaust. Just my .02

The biggest problem with that exhaust is that it's one piece at 125 lbs. That pretty much limits you to a local market for pickup. I gave mine away and then had thoughts of getting a ZL1 so I was scrambling to find another one. Nickey Chevy has a bunch and asked me to make an offer. I did and they came back with $250 saying they sell them to body shops for that. For what I don't know, how many Camaros in Chicago area need replacement exhaust systems? Might be able to get some scrap money out of it. Try a metal recycler.

I cut mine system into a few parts so it is easier to store. The cats you can sell for $150+ for scrap.

Bummer. Yeah, I was definitely thinking of selling/giving it to someone local. No way I could ship the thing. Guess I'll just post it and see if anyone makes an offer. Aren't some V6 guys putting SS mufflers on their cars? They'd probably want the LS3 muffs though, I think they are different than the L99?

Yeah L99's are different than the LS3's....to be honest...when I put on my Borla ATAK Catback I let the place keep my exhaust. I really didn't care.

I don't think it will be easy to sell it to someone local, cause I don't see there being much of a demand for it.

And if someone somewhere else wants one, I don't wanna have to pay shipping for that bad boy.

Since you asked.

The Body shops which have purchased take off exhausts from us have been used to replace the systems in rear end wrecks.

We have also sold systems to individuals selling/trading their cars back into dealerships in stock configuration.

All sales have been local/pick-up.
