1978 Camaro Z28 resto-mod
Me and my son picked up this car 5 years ago with a blown motor and dents in every single panel. What started as a father son project for his first car turned out to be resoration with a few mods to make it unique. It's not finished yet still working on the interior and few things outside but she looks fantastic in my opinion!
so far list of repairs and upgrades: low mileage crate motor rebulit TH350 with B&M shift kit Wheels and tires brakes new springs and shocks (air shocks in back) complete body and paint custom side louvers and added factory ground effects all the way around new dash all new weatherstripping Still needs: new front buckets carpet headliner door panels PICTURES: |

Thanks for the comments guys, I wanted my son to earn his car and learn something at the same time. I had a stepdad that didn't do anything but teach me how NOT to be a father so I used that to try and be a better Dad. I still make mistakes too I realize sometimes I try to be to much a friend and not enough of an authority figure but I'm still learning from my mistake too.
The louvers are the originals mounted from the back side and welded into place they fit perfectly, I think this is how it sould have been done instaed of bolting it on from the outside. |
