Hit a woman.

Start a land war in asia.

Rice up a muscle car.

I've seen this now twice on the way in to work.

REALLY? Does that car need that much down force? It looks to be a V6 also.

I've seen a 2005-2006 Mustang with 2 of the stock wings stacked... It was hideous. I did a quick photoshop to show what it looked like.

Ive actually seen more Mustangs of various years that were riced out than imports combined and I live in NY...Honda central.

I think that a lot of people on here has no idea what a ricer is... A ricer is usually thought of as a car with unnecessary mods that makes the car worse than it was from the start. The problem is that a double standard is applied.

For example: The wing on the mustang shouldn't be considered rice since the wings serves to apply downforce on a RWD car. It would be considered rice if it was on a civic since it really serves no purpose and makes the car worse.

Why would an aftermarket 3" pipe be considered rice on an asian car but not on a camaro? They both don't have any performance increase and only serves to create a sound that the driver likes. Heck, I've seen spoilers on here that looks like it would create more drag than actually spoiling wind.

There's a lot on here that puts on giant wheels on their car that makes the car worse than stock in handling and accel... but people don't call that rice. Yet I'm sure if I were to post a civic si on here with similar wheels, it would be bashed on left and right.

Same for lights. AAC creates respected products on here, but I remember people going on about how "rice" a car was with all these various lights when Fast and the Furious was out.

IMO...

Anybody who puts colored halos, sidemarker upgrades, footwell lighting, ground lighting or any other type of non factory lighting is ricer!!

There is going to be a lot of disagreement on what a "ricer" is. Maybe if the title read when "modifications go wrong." that would suffice. Giant "so called" performance muffler, underground lighting, and huge wing spoiler are items that typically attract that name.
