A reputable shop should charge you no more than $50 to install the MRT; that's how much I was charged. It's just cutting off the old one and clamping on the new one. Comes with terrific, expensive band clamps like the ones we used to use on our race car. To get it welded may be a bit more. I wanted to do it myself, but it was cheaper to pay someone rather than buy a sawzall, etc.... and I had no lift!

I can't answer the question on the body kit because I don't have or want one-- but of course to each their own!

Enjoy!

okay thanks for clearing that up for me. 50 bucks is not a bad price at all so the total project will run me about 550. nice. also does anyone know where sells the exhaust the cheapest?

I paid closer to $100 in California...but everything is more expensive here. Check out the Vendor sponsored classifieds as well. They have a couple good deals on the MRTv2 with CAI and scoop if you're interested. Nice choice by the way!

I believe it was "MRT" or some variant of that. I found it on these forums and it still worked when I tried it yesterday.

Good choice on the MRT 2.0. Just got mine installed this past tuesday and holy S**T does it sound amazing! I live in Chicago though and paid $80, but that included the guy doing some spot welding to minimize movement over time. Plus I found it much nicer having someone do it instead of me messing it up

You don't need to get it welded though, the clamps work just fine. However there were some gaps by the clamps when my guy did mine, that's where the welding came into play just to be safe. Did not pay anymore for the welding. $50-80 sounds fair
