Front brake noise... :(

So my 2010 2SS has a pretty embarrassing squeal that's coming from one (or both) of the front brakes. I've searched the forum and it looks like it's a common problem and there has been a lot of discussion on dealing with issue.

However I'm still unclear as to what the solution is. Can someone who has had this problem provide some advice?

I had the same problem. When I brought my car into the dealer for an oil change I told them about it. They looked into it and couldn't find anything really wrong the guy thought I may have gotten something stuck in there that was making the noise. I am guessing he was right because the next day it was gone and it has never come back again.

If you guys are having troubles with noises in your brakes you can always have your dealers check them over. I know there's a document that looks to try and address something like this but you'd have to check with your dealer to make sure it does apply to your vehicle. Let me know how things go for you guys.

i took mine to the dealer and they said that nothing was wrong but the noise does come and go, its a little embarrassing so i cant wait for the brakes to wear so i can replace them with better pads and rotors. hopefully that fixes the problem.

got the same thing but its pretty consistent and the dealer just said basically "performance brakes will do that"

I hate the excessive amount of brake dust they give too
