ADM scoop question

When using the ADM scoop is it necessary to relocate the windshield wash fluid to a new location? I probably would, but just wondering if anyone has put one on without doing it.

Yes. The washer bottle has to go. Not only will it not fit but even if it did you would be blocking the air flow which would defeat the purpose of the scoop.

Good thing is that since you have a R-F intake they make a really nice, stock looking replacement that attaches the around the back of the heat shield. You need to look into getting that one.

+1 There are several options available for replacing it though. Lots of info here.

That's what I figured. I have even considered removing it altogether because the car never sees rain. I guess in that case I could call it a weight savings. It looks like they offer a few nice relocating kits. I was looking at the rotofab.

If you want to go cheap and light weight you can make one like I did for about $20.

Maybe in Michigan you might use the washer fluid from time to time, but I really never missed not having it. It just messes up a clean and polished car too. Weight savings is also nice.

If you must have one Apex Chase linked to the best one especially if you like a nice clean looking engine compartment and don't want some cheap looking plastic bottle in there.
